Cinnabon's New Collab Is One You Have to See to Believe

We never would have expected this.

Cinnabon is known for its sweet and sticky cinnamon rolls made of soft dough and smothered in cream cheese frosting. Of course, we’ve seen plenty of renditions of the classic rolls, also known as bons, such as the PecanBon dripping in gooey caramel.

But the American baked goods chain has never offered a dessert quite like the one it is releasing this summer. We’ve seen a lot of different food collabs before, but this one may be the most unexpected one yet.

Cinnabon Teams up With Warheads for New Collab

Cinnabon, known for its iconic cinnamon swirled rolls, is teaming up with the sour candy brand Warheads to launch a first-of-its-kind food collab with two new—and very unique—products. Allow us to introduce your next most interesting dessert options.

First off, there’s the Cinnabon X Warheads Topped Bons that come in three flavors reminiscent of childhood: Blue Raspberry, Green Apple, and Watermelon. These look a lot like the original Cinnabon Bons, but rather than being covered just in the classic white icing, these are also topped with colorful Warheads Sour Popping candies that burst in your mouth.

Next up, is the Warheads Blue Raspberry Chillatta. This updated frozen drink takes Cinnabon’s blended beverage (traditionally available in Oreo Cookies and Cream, Strawberries and Cream, or Double Chocolate Mocha) and adds Warheads candies to the mix. It comes in an electric hue and is topped with whipped cream, then sprinkled with sour candies.

Beginning on Monday, August 19, you can try these new menu items at your local Cinnabon shop while supplies last. This may seem like an unlikely collaboration with a dessert shop and candy brand, but Cinnabon is said to have even more wild flavor combos coming soon for its latest line of topped buns.
