Christine Lampard has announced she has given birth to her second child, a baby boy.

The Loose Women presenter shared a picture with her 590,000 Instagram followers to announce the arrival of Frederick George Lampard. In the photo, a smiling Christine is breastfeeding from her bed at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

The caption reads: "Let us introduce you to our newest addition...Frederick (Freddie) George Lampard! We are completely in love @franklampard".

The couple are already parents to daughter Patricia, two, and Frank’s children Luna, 15 and Isla 13, from his relationship with Elen Rivas.

Christine’s post was popular with fans and friends of the couple, with over 180,000 likes and 2,000 comments from stars like Michelle Keegan, who said: "Amazing news! Congratulations Christine to you and your family."

Christine announced her pregnancy after appearing on Loose Women back in January, revealing the baby was due in April, so it seems like little Frederick has made an early arrival.

Back in January Christine said: "Well because dates aren't exactly... we aren't entirely sure. We're thinking by the size of it, it's April. Early April. It's not that far away now actually.

"We kind of thought during Christmas, 'Once January comes, suddenly we're on the last trimester part.' So yeah, it'll be here before we know. We can't believe it. It's personal happiness. It's something within the four walls of our house, where we spend most of our time, is something we're looking forward to."
