Christina Anstead "Has No Plans for Reconciling With Ant," Says Source
Following her separation from husband Ant Anstead earlier this month, Christina Anstead is ready to move on. A source close to the HGTV star spoke with E! about what Christina has been up to since the breakup.
"She is moving forward and has no plans for reconciling with Ant," the source told the outlet. "She saw everything she needed to see in their marriage and has made the difficult decision to move on."
The source explains Christina took no time to mope around and instead was working this past weekend. "She knows what she needs to do to start over and be a single mom," the source continued. "She is holding it together and doing that."
On Saturday, Christina posted a selfie to Instagram in which she reintroduced herself as a newly-single woman. She admitted in the caption that she never thought she'd have one divorce, let alone two. "I'm messy, I'm real and I'm working on healing," she wrote. "I'm surrounded by extremely powerful women who help me cope, build me up and push me to be better...," Christina added.
One woman who has been keeping Christina company is Shannon Houston, the founder of Pink Dust Cosmetics. The ladies posted several photos to Instagram Stories together over the weekend in between hanging out and working. If that Pink Dust Cosmetics sounds familar, it's because Tarek El Moussa was spotted applying some of the products to his face while on the set of Flip or Flop.
As Christina focused on her career this weekend, Ant watched their son Hudson. He posted to Instagram on Saturday revealing that the separation was not a mutual decision and he has "remained silent while holding on to hope." Yesterday he posted again to the platform and asked fans if they could let him and Christina just be. "Please stop diagnosing from afar," he wrote. Since the divorce, Ant has only posted photos in black-and-white to Instagram.
