Chrissy Teigen's Favorite New Trend Defies Gravity

Did Chrissy Teigen just see Wicked on Broadway because she’s been defying gravity lately. On Sunday, the model attended the Hamilton Behind The Camera Awards in Los Angeles, Calif., wearing a black snakeskin print dress that was as tight as a second skin.

The mother, who recently had a very exciting first Halloween with her daughter Luna, paired the Nicholas Oakwell Couture sheath featuring an off-the-shoulder silhouette with lace-up heels from Dsquared2. How the dress managed to stay up is a mystery but she seems to have figured out how to master the complicated style.

Just days before at Kris Jenner’s 61st birthday party, Teigen wore a red top that similarly seemed to avoid a wardrobe malfunction purely thanks to magic (or the magic of fashion tape). The Caroline Costas strapless top made from burgundy and black velvet strips had sleeves that seemed to be there superfluously — although they sure looked trendy.

Teigen’s actually a big fan of the off-the-shoulder trend and has worn it on multiple occasions in her street style and on the red carpet.
