Chrissy Teigen has shared a clip of a rather amusing wardrobe malfunction she suffered during a recent date with her husband John Legend.

After getting dressed up to the nines over the weekend, the presenter revealed that everything was not as chic as it may have seemed to her social media followers.

Following the couple's night out on Sunday, Teigen shared several photos of her and Legend dressed up on her Instagram account.

Following the date, later took to Instagram to share a video of herself in a black blazer. On closer inspection, however, it appears the blazer was being used to cover up an iridescent green fringe mini dress which had endured a pretty serious mishap on the night resulting in a torn, open zip.

In the video, the TV presenter is seen placing the blazer over the tear before holding her finger up to her lips in a cheeky faux request to fans to keep her style secret schtum.

On Monday, the Lip Sync Battle star also reflected on her early days working as a model at Miami Fashion Week.

Sharing photos of herself walking several runways modelling swimwear, she referred to herself as a 'C-class Naomi Campbell' in the post's caption, writing: 'Booking a show at the Setai, walking over the pool, oh my god the excitement, C-class Naomi Campbell coming throughhhhhh!!!!!! Dinner with randos at Prime 112, ordering enough food to take home to eat for the week cause the fashion show money would disappear with agency fees.

'Sleeping in a two bedroom at the Flamingo with 5 other girls, MEMORIES! [sic]'

Teigen also shed light on the realities of her catwalk days, dispelling the myth that fashion is synonymous with glamour, six-figure salaries and parties.

'Was talking about my days of Miami fashion week and how it was basically my equivalent of walking Paris couture, 200 bucks a show minus agency and I'd wait 5/6 hours sitting on the floor of the Mondrian to be seen [sic],' she shared.

The hustle ultimately paid off for Teigen, who has since gone on to be feature on 2010's Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and host shows including Lip Sync Battle and Bring the Funny — before launching her Cravings website and cookbooks.
