Chrissy Teigen says that the Duchess of Sussex has been “so kind” in reaching out to her, after she suffered her miscarriage.

The model sadly lost her baby boy with husband John Legend, 20 weeks into her pregnancy last year.

Teigen revealed that Meghan reached out to her, after also suffering a miscarriage of her own a few months prior in July.

During an interview on Watch What Happens Live! a fan asked Teigen if she’d spoken with Meghan, to which she replied: “Yeah, she’s been so kind to me ever since we connected.”

“She had written to me about baby Jack and loss. She is really wonderful and just so kind, just as kind as everyone says she is.”

Teigen continued: “That’s why you look at everything and you’re like, ‘My God, what is absolutely wrong with people that they have to make this person out to be so malicious or so crazy?’ When it’s just as simple as them being as kind as everyone says they are. She’s a really wonderful person.”

At the time, Teigen defended Meghan after she received criticism over her essay about having a miscarriage.

Titled ‘The Losses We Share’, Meghan spoke of the “unbearable grief” herself and Prince Harry were feeling over their unborn child.

In a now-deleted tweet, Teigen called out a Twitter user who'd decided to troll Meghan. The model faced similar public criticism after sharing her own experience of losing an unborn child earlier this year, through a series of intimate black and white photos taken in the hospital.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are now expecting their second child (a baby girl), after announcing the news in February - on the same date Princess Diana announced she was pregnant with Prince Harry 37 years prior.
