There are few celebrities we find more relatable than the iconic Chrissy Teigen, who is as famed for her unreal cookery skills as she is for keeping it candid on social media. The model and TV presenter has always been vocal about her political stance too (see: the time she was extremely unbothered about being blocked by outgoing president, Donald Trump). 💅

Now, it seems Chrissy has inadvertently spilled the beans on Joe Biden's inauguration ceremony plans by tweeting about her and husband John Legend's arrival in Washington D.C., as they attended a rehearsal ahead of the real deal. Oops!

Posting to her 13.5 million followers on Twitter, Chrissy shared a series of updates charting their journey and the subsequent sound check ahead of John's performance. One video featured Chrissy's mum, Pepper, arriving at the Washington monument and not believing where she really was. Chrissy captioned the clip: "I lie to mom so much about sites that she doesn’t believe we’re at the Washington monument lol."

Another showed Chrissy and John standing with a group armed service people, who she explained they bumped while lost. "Lmao we got lost on the way to soundcheck but I just got to meet these f*cking actual heroes."

A further clip showed the White House all lit up, with more service people standing to attention in orderly rows with musical instruments. Chrissy spoke directly to the camera in this one, saying, "What in the... Wow! This is amazing. This is crazy, beautiful." Ooh, all the goosebumps!

However, in true LOL fashion, Chrissy later gave another update explaining that, umm, actually, she wasn't meant to be posting about the upcoming ceremony plans in the first place – and asked everyone to "act surprised" on the day, adding that she'd received a bit of a telling off (presumably from some sort of stressed out events planner, or White House official).

"LMAO apparently that was all supposed to be a secret andI got scolded so act surprised tomorrow I’m crying," she posted in a tweet, which has already garnered over 56,500 likes.

Over on Instagram, she shared another image of herself at the historic site and a few *choice* words about controversial(ly orange?) President Trump:

"Today our great national fuckup is over, but the shame will last forever. with 2 impeachments, the creation of 3 million LESS jobs, 403,000 dead, a record low approval rating and god knows how many crimes... we can officially say Donald J Trump is the greatest at being the fucking worst. Maybe it wasn’t such a good idea to have the guy with barely enough well done steak with ketchup fuelled brainpower to power a lightbulb who doesn’t even know how to close an umbrella run the country. History will not be kind to you, you absolute psychopath. But I never was anyhow."

So, I dunno, just throwing it out there – could everyone over in the US please agree to vote Chrissy for President in 2024?
