Chris Pratt welcomes second daughter with Katherine Schwarzenegger and shares her sweet name
Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt and his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger have welcomed their second child together.
The actor made the announcement on social media, revealing the baby was born on Saturday (May 21), as well the newborn's name.
"We are so excited to announce the birth of our second daughter, Eloise Christina Schwarzenegger Pratt. Mama and baby are doing well," the message reads.
"We feel beyond blessed and grateful. Love, Katherine and Chris."
The couple announced their engagement in 2019 and tied the knot five months later, before welcoming their first child, Lyla Marie, in August 2020.
Pratt also has a 9-year old son named Jack from his previous relationship with Anna Faris, with whom he shares co-parenting duties.
Last year, Pratt said that "would love to have more [kids,] as many as the Man upstairs will provide".
"I think having a second child really emphasises what was unique about your first child because when you have one kid, you just take for granted all their growth and development. You just assume all children are that way," he said at the time.
"And then you see a second kid come along and they might be a little bit different and they might highlight some of the differences. And so that's been nice.
"My oldest is a son and now I have a girl so seeing that is different, how I react maybe a little differently, I don't roughhouse quite as much as I did for some reason, I don't know. I just want to cuddle both of them."
