Chris Hughes is keen to take part in I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!
The reality TV star, who found fame on the 2017 series of Love Island, wants to participate in a celebrity competition that will push him out of his comfort zone, such as I'm A Celeb and SAS: Who Dares Wins, and although he has been approached about becoming a contestant on these types of shows in the past, he has yet to sign up for any.
"There have been a few I've been approached for. The ones I enjoy watching are like SAS: Who Dares Wins and the jungle (I'm A Celeb) and stuff like that," he told the Mirror. "For me, I like being out of my comfort zone. I'm never content with what I've done and I think the jungle is like - for me to be in an environment with snakes and spiders - I'd be proud of myself. Maybe (I'd do) that in the future."
However, the 28-year-old insisted that he won't be on the celebrity line-up for the Ant and Dec-presented show later this year, adding, "There's nothing in the pipeline at the minute in terms of a show I've got coming up. I'd love to say there was, but no, nothing."
Like last year, the 2021 show will once again be filmed at Gwrych Castle in Wales instead of the Australian jungle due to Covid-19 restrictions. Rumoured celebrity contestants include Coronation Street's Simon Gregson, EastEnders star Adam Woodyatt, former Strictly Come Dancing judge Arlene Phillips and TV presenter Richard Madeley.
