Cheryl and Liam Payne's three-year-old son Bear is mostly kept out of the private eye. Though there's the occasional Instagram post (and that clip of his adorable Newcastle accent), updates on their only child together are few and far between.

Which is why fans are relishing the latest insight from their son, which came on Jessie Ware's Table Manners podcast this morning [23 December]. Cheryl appeared as a guest on the show for a second time, and was interrupted by her son singing a rendition of 'Jingle Bells'.

While Cheryl was talking to Jessie and her mum Lenny on the podcast, Bear sweetly interrupted her discussion to say hello. When asked "Are you being cheeky?" he replied "Yeah!"

Cheryl and Bear then sang 'Jingle Bells' together.

The singer then gave an insight into her Christmas plans, explaining that ex-Liam would come over to her Buckinghamshire mansion and they'd spend it together with their son. Given that the podcast was filmed before Tier 4 restrictions came into play, it's unclear what will go ahead.

"It'll probably just be me, my mum and Liam," Cheryl said of December 25th. "My mam makes a great roast, and Liam normally does the meat on Christmas. He's really good at it actually and puts his all into it.

"[We watch] Home Alone the movie. Both. I always play them back to back. I love it. I think it's because it reminds me of when I was a kid. I love mulled wine. I love everybody to wear the same PJs on Christmas eve night… This year we're going to have Disney ones."

Liam and Cheryl dated for two and a half years before their split in June 2018. Bear was born in March 2017.
