Chelsea’s young but impressive defender Levi Colwill says they are going to north London on Monday night to try and take all three points and not just to add to the numbers.
The Blues lost to Brentford in their last league game but have bounced back with a brilliant 2-0 win over Blackburn Rovers. The win in the League Cup provides them with needed confidence going into the London derby on Monday night.
Spurs are only one of two teams without a defeat in the league so far but Colwill who will be playing in his first game against Spurs says its a derby and that means anything is always possible.
He is quoted by the Evening Standard: “It’s a big game — a great one to play in because of the rivalry.
“Of course, they’ve got good players but, at the same time, so have we. We played well against the big teams like Arsenal and Liverpool.
“We have the same approach as any other game no matter whether they are top of the league or not. We can go there and try to win which we are capable of. It will be a hard game but we are capable of winning.”
“I am definitely and, speaking on behalf of all the players, we are all ready to go there and put a good performance in and, as I said, get the win.”
Chelsea’s best game have come against big teams as evidence by their performance against the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal recently but with games against Newcastle and Manchester City to come- getting all three points in nort London will be a massive boost.
