The Cheesecake Factory’s Fan-Favorite Holiday Cheesecake Won’t Be on the Menu This Year

The Cheesecake Factory is one of those restaurants that’s synonymous with family time. Whether you go there to enjoy the avocado egg rolls or Santa Fe salad, you know you can’t leave the table without a slice (or two) of the famous cheesecake to split with your loved ones.

And, if your holiday plans consist of heading to The Cheesecake Factory after Christmas shopping or for your Christmas Eve dinner, we have news about the menu. The beloved winter flavor Peppermint Bark Cheesecake is not returning to menus this year. But don't panic, there's another seasonal treat taking its place.

The Cheesecake Factory Is Launching an All-New Holiday Cheesecake Flavor

Yes, we know it’s a bit devastating—but it’s not all bad news! Because while the Peppermint Bark Cheesecake isn’t coming back, a new peppermint-flavored cheesecake is joining the holiday menu. This year, The Cheesecake Factory is introducing its all-new Peppermint Stick Chocolate Swirl Cheesecake.

The Cheesecake Factory confirmed that its new Peppermint Stick Chocolate Swirl Cheesecake will replace the Peppermint Bark Cheesecake this holiday season on Instagram, commenting, “We swirled up a new flavor for the holidays” in response to one user’s question “Is peppermint bark cheesecake coming back?”

The new cheesecake is different from the Peppermint Bark Cheesecake, but it does have similar minty, delicious holiday vibes. The Peppermint Stick Chocolate Swirl Cheesecake features a peppermint-swirled white and dark chocolate cheesecake atop a mint chocolate brownie base. The OG fan-favorite was a white chocolate cheesecake swirled with chocolate peppermint bark and topped with white chocolate mousse and chopped peppermint.

This new cheesecake packs a similar peppermint punch, just with an added level of decadence thanks to the dark chocolate cheesecake and brownie.

The Peppermint Stick Chocolate Swirl Cheesecake will hit menus on Nov. 24 and be available for the rest of the year. You’ll be able to order it by the slice or as a 10-inch cake—a great option if you want to leave the holiday dessert to the pros.

A new cheesecake flavor isn’t the only sweet treat The Cheesecake Factory is offering guests this holiday season. The restaurant is also running a promotion starting Nov. 20 that will give customers a $15 bonus card for every $50 worth of gift cards they purchase online. If you’re looking to do some last-minute holiday shopping from now through the end of the year, why not grab a gift card that also gives you a gift (to be redeemed from Jan. 1 to Feb. 29)?

While this might not be the best news for Peppermint Bark Cheesecake-lovers, you should certainly give this new chocolate-mint cheesecake a try—it might even beat out the original.
