It's been three long years since the last Fixer Upper reveal aired on HGTV, and now the wait for the highly anticipated return of the hit show is finally over! The premiere episode of Fixer Upper: Welcome Home debuted on Discovery+ as part of an overall preview for Chip and Joanna Gaines's new Magnolia Network, and the farmhouse chic vibes are even stronger than we remember.

Chip and Joanna started off the season with one of their most challenging projects to date. The original home of newlywed couple Lucas and Laney was "nothing like we'd ever seen before," Joanna commented in the episode. More than just a fixer upper, it was literally a trashed, abandoned home shrouded in overgrown trees and held up by eroding walls. With serious updates like brand-new flooring, windows, and ceiling beams throughout the entire home, Chip and Joanna made sure to provide a strong foundation for the first chapter of this couple's married life. By the time they finished working their signature shiplap magic, Chip and Joanna had managed to turn the 1990s architectural disaster into a beautiful midcentury-modern dream home. Keep scrolling to check out the stunning transformation of Lucas and Laney's practically unrecognizable fixer upper.
