Food entrepreneur Charlie Bigham and his team at Charlie Bigham's have partnered up with the Wells Food Festival to hold England's biggest virtual food and market festival.
The Wells Food Festival with Charlie Bigham's will showcase the South of England's best artisans and give foodies the chance to cook-along (albeit virtually) with some top chefs.
The festival kicks off on Friday 10th October, running through to Saturday 11th October. It will showcase over 150 artisans from the South of England, who foodies can buy produce directly from.
On Friday, The Bigham's Banquet will also give 1,000 lucky viewers the chance to join a live streamed cook-along where chefs like Mark Hix, Thomasina Miers, Henry Harris, Merlin Labron-Johnson and Bigham’s head chef Rupert Willday will be taking part.
The Bigham’s Banquet will also be hosted by food critic William Sitwell and Charlie Bigham himself.
The banquet runs from 6pm – 9pm on Friday and tickets costs £20, with all proceeds going to Chefs in Schools – a charity that works to transform the food served in primary schools across the country.
Ahead of the cook-along, participants will receive a Bigham’s goodie bag with an apron, a Wells Food Festival tea towel, a banquet recipe booklet and a voucher for a free Bigham’s dish.
