Chanel's special Edinburgh beauty pop-up is now open
Chanel is known for executing pop-up activations with aplomb, and the fashion house’s new temporary beauty boutique in Edinburgh, Scotland, is undoubtedly worth a visit.
Free to all, the unique experience guides visitors on “an exciting nighttime excursion” in celebration of the Rouge Allure Velvet Nuit Blanche – a new luxury lipstick launch featuring Margot Robbie.
The Scottish capital is a city that the label’s founder Gabrielle Chanel “adored”, and with which she formed a strong bond professionally and personally, with its rich cultural heritage serving as a wellspring of inspiration for the lauded designer.
Within the charming townhouse in Edinburgh's historic Charlotte Square, guests are first welcomed into a chic cinema room and introduced to the captivating Nuit Blanche campaign film. As the face of the new matte lipstick range, it sees Robbie – a longstanding ambassador for Chanel – in her first ever make-up role for the house.
With Chanel beauty advisors on hand, there is also an interactive backstage beauty area where guests can discover their perfect lipstick shade from the collection and explore the products used to create Robbie’s evening make-up in the campaign. Exclusive to the pop-up, Chanel School of Makeup Masterclasses are available to pre-book too, so you can create the full look on yourself (with photo opportunities aplenty.)
The immersive pop-up is open until the 30th of March (on Mondays-to-Saturdays between 10am-to-6pm and on Sundays between 12pm-to-5pm) at No.8 Charlotte Square, Edinburgh, EN2 4DR. Book for free at chanel.com.
