The best celebrity style moments in Wimbledon history
There is just something about Wimbledon style. The tennis tournament, which is always one of the most highly anticipated events in the British summertime calendar, is returning this week after a one-year hiatus, and will no doubt give us some fantastic fashion moments as the A-listers start to descend on SW19.
The English tennis championship is renowned for its courtside style, which often sees royals and celebrities cheering on the players from the stands, and always delivering when it comes to fashion. Although there is no strict dress code for the spectators (unlike on the court, where the players have to wear white), there tends to be a smart/casual approach to the occasion with dresses, hats and tailoring often taking centre stage on centre court.
Here, we round up 40 of our favourite celebrity style moments in Wimbledon history. Scroll through to look back over some of these memorable ensembles spotted in the stands over the years, from the likes of Princess Diana and Princess Anne to the Duchess of Cambridge, Sienna Miller, Alexa Chung and Karlie Kloss.
From royals in Wimbledon white to actresses, singers and models putting their spin on courtside style, there is plenty of inspiration here for your next trip to the tennis.
