Three more Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins recruits quit the show early
Reality icon Marnie Simpson, comedian Tez Ilyas, and ex-England rugby boss Chris Robshaw have all waved goodbye to the intense challenges of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins. In a gruelling instalment of the Channel 4 show, contestants were faced with dragging a colossal 130lb of kit in a race across 3km of freezing landscapes, paired with another recruit, only to then go head-to-head in fierce combat.
Geordie Shore's very own Marnie Simpson hit her limit almost straight off the bat during the opening task grappling with snow spikes and her footwear became too much, leading her to walk away from the programme.
Opening up to her fellow recruits and the directing staff, she confessed: "I'm so done... I just want to go home. I've accepted it, I'm just not cut out for it." Speaking to the camera separately, Marnie reflected: "I don't think I'm a diva. I can only do what's physically possible so if I'm doing something I don't believe is physically possible, I can't do it.

"I just feel like a lot of people are 'each man for themself' kind of world. I'm not like that. I wouldn't leave a man behind, but ultimately not many people are like that."
Following Marnie's exit, her teammate, boxing champ Anthony Ogogo, was left tackling the daunting mission solo. Comedian Tex, teamed up with TOWIE star Pete Wicks, found himself in dire straits too, struggling fiercely with the heavy load.
His predicament prompted a crew member to intervene, requesting his armband and sending him off to see the medic. The crew member expressed concern to Tez: "You've got nothing left to give, you're becoming a safety problem."
Pete, who was a contestant in 2022 but had to leave the show for medical reasons, is back on the new series set in New Zealand's South Island. He shared his motivation for returning, saying: "Because last time I failed and I f***** up and I hate that, and that's why I'm back. I have a lot of what ifs, and I hate what ifs, I have too many in my life already."
After fellow participant Tez exited, Pete carried on solo but had to pause for a medical evaluation when he felt dizzy. He was given the green light to continue but warned that a recurrence would mean his exit from the show.
The latest episode saw the competitors alongside their partners in challenging tests of body and mind. In a bout with professional basketball player and Love Island alumnus Ovie Soko, rugby player Chris reported a shoulder injury, admitting: "My shoulder's gone." Post assessment by medics, he was advised to withdraw due to the risk of his shoulder could "pop at any time".
