Celebrity Race Across The World's series launch has been postponed by the BBC.
The official X/Twitter account for the series has confirmed the reality competition will not premiere as scheduled on Wednesday night (September 13).
The BBC have taken this decision out of sensitivity for the unfolding events in Morocco, where more than 2,500 people have been reported dead by the government following a devastating earthquake.
The situation continues to be perilous near the epicentre of the quake in the Atlas Mountains because significant structural damage is preventing heavy lifting machines to get through to the area.
Celebrity Race Across The World, which was filmed earlier this year, begins its all-star quest in Marrakesh, Morocco, so it's understandable the launch show will be postponed.

The show confirmed the postponement: "The BBC has announced that in light of the earthquake in Morocco, the first episode of Celebrity Race Across the World will be postponed.
"We of course started off our journey in Marrakesh – it’s a beautiful city and we were so warmly welcomed by everyone during filming. Our hearts go out to the people of the country, and our thoughts are with them."
The celebrity version of Race Across The World challenges four pairings to complete a journey spanning 10,000-kilometres and 24 countries.
The cast includes Good Morning Britain's Alex Beresford and his father Noel, All Saints singer Melanie Blatt and her mum Helene, Strictly Come Dancing winner and McFly drummer Harry Judd and mum Emma, as well as racing driver Billy Monger and his sister Bonny.
Judd recently spoke about the show's gruelling travel, recalling that he "broke down" at one point following a video call with his family.
"I've never missed my wife so much. I went into Mum's room and had a bit of a cry," he told OK! Magazine.
A rescheduled air date for the launch of Celebrity Race Across The World will be announced by the BBC in due course.
