From multi-million dollar Kardashian dos, to Christine Quinn's lavish gothic spectacle, weddings are a big deal in celebrity world. But sometimes even famous people decide to go for something a little more low-key and spontaneous, like an elopement.
From Chrissy Teigen and John Legend to Lily Allen and David Harbour and even THE Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker, celeb elopements seem to be becoming a bit more of a 'thing' in Hollywood, and we're into it, even if it is just because of how wild they look on Instagram. Here's our list of our favourite celebrity couples who you probably forgot eloped.

Okay, so, our immediate reaction to Kravis's Vegas elopement was kind of undermined when it came to light that the pair didn't actually have a marriage license. But it's still an elopement of sorts, right?

Sophie and Joe had us all a bit obsessed with their romance already, and that was before they swiftly tied the knot in Las Vegas right after the 2019 Billboard Music Awards. The small ceremony was attended by the Jonas brothers and the couple exchanged ring pop sweets instead of wedding bands. They then went onto have a very fancy second ceremony in the French countryside a few months later.

The couple got married back in 2017 in a super low-key ceremony in the US. Speaking on The Late Late Show with James Corden Sadoski broke the news, saying, "We eloped. We just took off into the country with an officiant and just the two of us, and we did our thing."
