Watch: What are the best bargain beauty products

Yahoo Lifestyle's editors are committed to independently selecting wonderful products at great prices for you. We may receive a share from purchases made via links on this page. Pricing and availability are subject to change.

Of all the products in your bathroom cabinet, a moisturiser is probably the most used - and required. Finding one that suits your skin can take years but will often end up being a costly process. We can understand why you may be hesitant to trust reviews but if it's endorsed by multiple celebrities (often with incredibly deep pockets and access to the best skincare on the planet) then it's probably worth a try.

Enter Embryolisse's Lait-Crème Concentré Nourishing Moisturiser. The French product is seriously hot property: one tube is sold every 13 seconds, according to a spokesperson for the brand.

It's fanbase is equally impressive. Famous faces including Karlie Kloss, Elle Macpherson, Gwyneth Paltrow, Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Michelle Keegan and presenter Emma Willis have all waxed lyrical about it.

Speaking to, Kloss said: "I use a lotion called Embryolisse. It's just a really good light cream—not too oily and not too thick."

Elle told Who What Wear: "What I am particular about is moisturisers. My favourite is French pharmacy moisturiser Embryolisse. It's a no-nonsense, good quality cream."

Willis, 45, stressed she "can't live without Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré moisturiser” when speaking to the Express Online.

While Keegan previously told Closer: "I always recommend using a good primer, a heavy-duty moisturiser like the Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré works really well and is really good value for money.”

Lady Gaga has a slightly alternative use for the product. Speaking to Allure, she said: "I'm kind of old school. I put it all over my face and just wipe it off."

Why we rate it

The Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré Nourishing Moisturiser is the all-rounder we never knew our beauty cupboards needed.

The moisturiser not only works to nourish the skin, but removes make-up and cleanses too. Additionally, it can be used as a hydrating overnight mask and hand cream. Boots also claims it is a primer, repairing mask, suitable for men post shave and safe for babies.

It's not a new product - the original formula was created in the 1950s. It contains essential fatty acids and vitamins, such as soy protein, shea butter, aloe vera and beeswax, which combine to moisturise the skin, boost elasticity, smooth the skin's surface, and protect against harmful aggressors.

It's free from parabens, and isn't tested on animals. Plus, it is suitable for all skin types, and aims to leave your skin hydrated, soft, and radiant after use.

It currently retails for £20 at Boots, where it has been given almost solely five-star reviews. If you do a bit of digging though you can sometimes find it on an offer (on Amazon it has been slashed to £14.75 but that probably won't last for long).
