Celebrities are sharing photos of their pubescent selves in the name of charity

Big hair, even bigger glasses and wonky teeth: If you ever wanted to see what A-listers such as Kate Hudson, Kristen Bell and Reese Witherspoon looked like during *those* awkward teenage years, now’s your chance.

Celebrities are currently taking to Twitter and Instagram to share photos of their pubescent selves, but it’s not in the name of entertainment – it’s for charity. The pics come from a drive called ‘#puberme’, which US presenter Stephen Colbert and his guest, US actor, Nick Kroll created on ‘The Late Show’ last week.

The pair decided they would give money to help the Puerto Rico relief efforts every time that a famous face shared a childhood photo.

In addition to Hudson, Bell and Witherspoon, James Corden, ‘Nashville’ star Connie Britton, ‘Bridesmaids’ comedian Maya Rudolph and actress Mandy Moore are among those who have shared throwback snaps – you’ve probably seen some surface on your social media feed.
