Tomorrow marks the beginning of the Chinese New Year. With 2017 marked as the Year of the Rooster, it’s time to take on the animal’s traits which include being sociable yet hardworking.
It’s also time to treat yourself. Traditional New Year celebrations include showering your loved ones with lavish gifts as well as buying a thing or two for your own pleasure.
With China becoming a huge global market and the New Year being enjoyed in cities all over the world, it’s no wonder that brands are producing limited edition designs. Some (like Gucci’s) are plastered with literal roosters. Others have simply used lucky Chinese symbols and the colours black and red to mark the occasion.
