Catherine Zeta-Jones shares throwbacks snaps with King Charles III
Posting over the weekend, Catherine Zeta-Jones shared three throwback photos with His Majesty King Charles III, from times she has met him throughout her career.
The beautiful Welsh actress first met the King decades ago, and they have since had several lovely encounters since.
Alongside the three photos, Catherine wrote "God Save the King. God bless the Queen. All my love to King Charles and Queen Camilla β₯οΈ right now I am here in Britain, in my best robe, eating scones with clotted cream and drinking copious amounts of English breakfast tea as I await history being made. π¬π§π¬π§π¬π§π¬π§π¬π§π¬π§π¬π§π¬π§π¬π§π¬π§."
Catherine started the slideshow with a photo of her receiving a CBE from a then-Prince of Wales.
In 2010, Catherine was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) for her film and humanitarian work. It was King Charles who presented her with this honour at Buckingham Palace over a decade ago.
Catherine's husband Michael Douglas and their children Dylan and Carys were with her during her visit to the Palace.
The second photo in the slideshow was of Catherine wearing a beautiful ballgown, shaking hands with then Prince Charles. In third and final photo, Catherine is wearing an incredible red satin dress, sharing a laugh.
Catherine shared the snaps over the historic weekend when the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla took place. The pair were crowned in a ceremony at Westminster Abbey on Saturday, 6 May. A host of celebrations took place all weekend to make the event β including a coronation concert.
