There's no denying that Cat Deeley is a verified star of the small screen, with an impressive career behind her which, most recently, has led to the This Morning sofa.

Cat kicked off her presenting career on SMTV in her early twenties but, now 48, says that life is speeding up for her in midlife, rather than slowing down.

In a new campaign video for Estée Lauder, Cat revealed that she is feeling more herself as time has gone on. "As I've got older, I've got sillier," she said in the clip which was shared on her instagram page. "I'm so comfortable in my own skin."

The ITV star also talked about her close relationships with her long-time friends in the video and how they still enjoy plenty of fun together.

"We'll dance till dawn on tables," she confessed. "The minute we get together, it's instantaneously like no time has passed at all."

Cat also opened up about her family, saying her mum had "always been very cool" and that she "always used to say to me 'It goes by so quickly'," referring to the passing of time. Cat laughed that she used to roll her eyes at her mum's comments but that now, since having her own children, she's realised just how right she was.
