Cat Deeley credits her youthful appearance to a low-maintenance beauty regime that means she can get ready in just a few minutes.
The British TV presenter has regular hair and beauty treatments to ensure she’s ready to leave the house at a moment's notice day-to-day.
“I’m a low maintenance girl. I try to do very little when I don’t have to. I find that if I have regular ‘maintenance’ treatments, I can be ready to go out in five minutes,” she told the Mail Online.
“I get my hair coloured, have regular massages, and love getting my lashes tinted and my brows shaped.
“Plus heaps of exercise, and as much sleep as possible. That way when I’m going out all I have to do is slick on some gloss, and a bit of blush and I am ready to go!” she said.
“I think if you look after yourself on a regular basis, and do the prep beforehand, you don’t need to put lots of effort into looking good,” she said.
Cat's healthy lifestyle means she can have the occasional slip up without feeling guilty.
“It’s about finding the right balance – if you have a good diet, drink lots of water, exercise regularly and sleep, you won’t look bad on a regular basis.
“Then you can afford the occasional naughty slip up once in a while, going out and having a delicious glass of wine with friends, having a great laugh and chat then realising its 2am isn’t so bad – you’ve put in the hard work!
Birmingham-born Cat, who married presenter Patrick Kielty in September, also revealed she has a new found confidence now she’s in her 30s.
“I think as a woman, the more you embrace who you are, and your own opinions, and how you feel, and the body you have been given - I think the more confident you are and the more beautiful you look,” she revealed.
“I definitely feel that my confidence has grown as I’ve entered my 30s. I have my own opinion – it’s very valid – and that shows on the outside as well.”
But with all those treatments and being the face of Pantene, does Cat ever have a bad hair-day?
“Yes! Ponytails and hats and sunglasses are key!” she joked.
