Cars Set Alight as Protests Continue on Corsica

Protests continued in Ajaccio, Corsica, on March 10, as anger at the French state flared following a prison attack on prominent Corsican nationalist Yvan Colonna.

Footage and stills uploaded to Twitter by Carulu-Andria Pazzoni showed fire in the streets and cars set alight in downtown Ajaccio as protests unfolded on the evening of March 10.

France 3 reported that around 400 high school students had gathered to protest, but that the action had been less violent than previous nights.
