Strictly Come Dancing favourite Caroline Quentin has shared what life is like now she's left the show - and says she's 'back where she belongs'.

Caroline's home life back in Devon looks pretty idyllic, and she's swapped the sequins and sprung floor for growing vegetables, running outdoors and hanging out with her pets; which include dogs, cats and chickens.

The presenter was voted off Strictly on Sunday (22 November) after she and partner Johannes landed in the bottom two against Maisie Smith and Gorka Marquez, but she's taking the exit in her stride.

That said, she's clearly missing her pals from the show. She tagged Johannes in a picture of her out for a run, with the caption, "Morning run by the canal Where’s my partner? Miss you my angel".

Elsewhere, she gave us a peek into life chez Quentin, at the farmhouse she shares with her husband Sam and her two children, Rose, 21, and Will, 17. She shared a picture from her garden with the pet pooches, wearing a woolly hat, warm coat and clutching a hot drink - and the spoils of her vegetable patch spread out in front of her.

In 2018, Caroline told The Times: "About 10 years ago, my husband, Sam, and I found a derelict farmhouse on a hill outside Tiverton, Devon. We renovated it, and live there with my daughter and son as well as four dogs and six cats. It has four bedrooms and a kitchen/dining area separated by double doors from a large sitting room with a woodburner.

"The house has to cope with dogs, cats, children and rugby boots. Life hits the place pretty hard. It ages gracefully as you beat it up."

Caroline also shared a picture of her cat Reuben, sprawled out over the kitchen table while she tries to learn some lines.

With all the animals, fresh veg and that country living, it looks like being back home really suits Caroline. When can we come and visit?
