  1. Living Cleansing Balm, £37, Then I Met You: This was my product of the year last year. It launched on Cult Beauty in June and has been consistently sold out ever since. It’s a brilliant one stop shop cleansing balm - it removes make-up, SPF, cleans your skin and doesn’t leave it feeling tight or dry.

  2. Hydrating Accelerator, £35, Josh Rosebrook: The Rolls Royce of facial mists. It hydrates, calms, soothes and can be used over or under make up or any stage of your routine. I keep one on my desk and – although you absolutely do not have to – you can keep it in the fridge to make it that extra bit refreshing.

  3. CC Me Serum, £57, Summer Fridays: This is a brilliant Vitamin C serum because, unlike a lot of them, it focuses on more than one key ingredient. It also has a big fat dose of niacinamide – it’s brightening and water-based so won’t clog your pores. A must have for under your moisturiser.

  4. Auto Correct Eye Cream, £60, Sunday Riley: This is one of my most used eye products of all time. Not only does it do what you usually expect of an eye cream – depuffs and brightens – it also has instant gratification via light reflective particles. It means you look better instantly while the cream is getting to work.

  5. Hydro-Dynamic Ultimate Moisture, £65, Murad: A brilliant moisturiser if you’re slightly drier or menopausal, however it is light enough to be used by everyone. Really hydrating for the skin and brilliant under make-up.

  6. Supreme Screen Hydrating Facial Skinscreen SPF 50+, £34, Ultra Violette: The UV range launched in SpaceNK earlier this year and it’s quickly become my favourite range in terms of choice and suitability for my own skin. I use the supreme screen which is hydrating and has a glow.

Caroline’s top tip

Buy eight flannels minimum and use one a day (you’ll need the eighth flannel as a spare on wash day). Flannels get your skin clean. They are more substantial than wipes or muslins, are far more effective at removing dirt, and help exfoliate the skin, too.
