Carole Baskin denies she's signed up for I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!

Tiger King star Carole Baskin has denied she's going to be a contestant on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!

The big cat rights activist and animal sanctuary owner rose to fame in early 2020 when she appeared on Netflix docuseries Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem, and Madness and she made her reality TV debut on Dancing with the Stars last year.

However, when asked if she had plans to sign up to any U.K. shows, Baskin said her veganism wouldn't make for an interesting watch, although Coronation Street star Beverley Callard appeared on the show as a vegan last year.

"There was an awful lot of chat about people saying I was going to be on a U.K. show called I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here, but I strive towards veganism and so there's like no vegetable that they're gonna ask me to eat that's so gross that it's gonna make people tune in," she told The Mirror, before going on to state that she hasn't even been approached about being on such shows.

"I don't know how it became such a huge thing for people to think that it was going to happen," the 60-year-old continued. "But, it didn't happen. It won't happen. I obviously proved that I cannot dance so I don't expect anybody from Strictly to come knocking at my door."

It was recently announced that there would be a follow-up series to Tiger King, but Baskin, who has been vocal about her issues with the first series, has refused to take part, despite being the lead of the original alongside rival zoo owner Joe Exotic, who is currently in prison.
