Carol Vorderman showcased her enviable curves as she posed for photographers in a tight top and PVC trousers outside the Houses of Parliament on Thursday to promoting her new book Now What?: On a Mission to Fix Broken Britain.

The TV legend, 63, flaunted her age-defying physique in her fashionable ensemble which featured a pink long-sleeved top, figure-hugging latex trousers and a belt accessory which perfectly cinched in her waist.

The presenter, who has long been admired for her peachy posterior - winning Rear of the Year in 2011 and 2014 – as well as her toned figure, wowed as she stepped out at the Houses of Parliament.

Carol turned heads at the occasion as she posed up a storm for cameras while clutching onto her new book and holding a big sign with "now what?" emblazoned across it.

The star wore her golden locks in a curly blow dry while she showed off her pearly whites as she flashed her dazzling smile.

Feeling confident and getting fit is something that came later in life for former Countdown star Carol, who said: "Women who are in their sixties weren’t brought up to exercise. You had PE at school but there were certainly no gyms."

She continued: I came to exercise late; now I love walking and I love my gym. I’ve started stretching a lot, too. I think, as you get older, you need to do weight-bearing stuff and you need to stretch and squat. If you don’t, even for a couple of weeks, you start creaking.”

The Countdown icon, who previously shared details about her weight loss journey and revealed that she managed to drop an impressive "half a stone" in just a fortnight, was out to promote her new book, What Now?, outlining her personal "mission to fix Broken Britain"

It comes after the 63-year-old appeared on Good Morning Britain this week and scrutinized the Labour Party but was suddenly cut off and unable to finish her sentence by hosts Susanna Reid and Ed Balls.

The Countdown star initially discussed her brand-new book Now What as she continues to “Fix Broken Britain.” She went on a huge rant about how the Labour Party was not helping people and was left “shocked” by their latest moves.

Carol was heard saying: “I am quite shocked actually that a Labour Government has suggested this, and I think it could be their poll tax statement very early on. So part of why I am writing the book is about tax reform. I give evidence it is very readable.”

She continued to say that it is her “take on the manifesto” and then shared a whopping statement. Carol said: “Private equity managers in the tax year 2020/2021. Round about then. One tax year they earned, I say lightly £2.7 billion. Do you know how many people earned £2.7 billion?

“Do you want to know? 255 of them. So they were earning over £10 million on average each. But they don’t pay 45% tax like somebody earning over £100,000. They don’t pay that as they have a special arrangement made. They pay HMRC 28% tax.”
