Cardi B Wears Even More Mugler In Paris
Cardi B shined in another glamorous Mugler look in Paris.
Yesterday, the rapper made a surprise Paris Fashion Week appearance at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs for designer Manfred Thierry Mugler's exclusive opening exhibition, 'Thierry Mugler: Couturissime.' At the event, she wore two showstopping ensembles. The first: a shimmery red, body-hugging gown paired with a massive feathered mane and cape. And the second: a black bodysuit paired with tights and leather arm sleeves.
She posted shots of her second look to Instagram and praised the designer for his work. 'Thank you @manfredthierrymugler @muglerofficial for including me in such a historical night, the opening of your exhibit in Paris!' Cardi wrote on Instagram. 'Truly one of my favourite creative minds in the WORLD! I’m mind blown looking at your collections from over the years. A true Genius!'
Paris Fashion Week has been Cardi's first major public showing since welcoming her second child with rapper-husband Offset earlier this month. She shared the official news to Instagram with a photo of her and Offset in the hospital bed post-delivery, revealing their son's birthdate with the simple caption, '9/4/21 🦕💙.'
She also opened up to People about her sentiments surrounding the birth. 'We are so overjoyed to finally meet our son,' she said. 'He is already loved so much by family and friends and we can't wait to introduce him to his other siblings.'
Cardi B's last Mugler moment was just months ago, when she posed for another Instagram post in a tight red leather minidress that showcased her then pregnant figure. In the post, she additionally revealed her impressive Birkin bag collection, featuring a colourful slew of more than a dozen bags. 'Come take me out this Mugler,' the rapper wrote in the caption.
Aside from new motherhood obligations, Cardi B has remained busy with her music, dropping hit singles 'Rumors' with Lizzo and 'Wild Side' with Normani. Following the release of 'Rumors,' she commemorated the song becoming the fastest-selling single of the week with a characteristically Cardi remark on Instagram: 'Let the numbers do the talking.'
