If there's one thing Cardi B doesn't waste her time with, it's censoring herself on social media. If you follow her, you get a free pass into her life, end of.
She's involved us in moments most A-listers wouldn't dream of sharing with the world; like the time she filmed her bikini wax appointment (and screamed the whole way through). She's also asked Twitter for acne advice before, and once invited fans into an intimate bleaching session.
TMI moments aside, she's a true beauty icon, spoiling us almost daily with a new hair or makeup look. Her wig collection is next level, she mixes up a mean hair mask using ingredients from her kitchen cupboard, and even manages to make low ponytails look cool.
But she's also happy to take things back to basics and share her makeup-free face with the world. Which is exactly what happened this week, when she woke up to something that clearly irked her...
Cardi filmed herself having a rant, with unbrushed hair and and not a stitch of makeup on her face (and she looked uh-mazing, we must add). She summed up what she was so angry about in the caption, which read:
"This is my face after wakin up 20 minutes ago ,no filter , hair not brushed , lip chap all that .I never been afraid to show my real self .When YOU ON TOP the miserable and the ugly love to screenshot pictures while you in motion then criticize your face .I’m confident in my own skin .You bitches need to ask ya self if ya confidence in ya self enought that ya gotta try to bring bitches down for a hobby that’s winning and in their 20s."
Cardi's fans rallied round in support, telling her: "Tell them 👏," and, "you look beautiful!."
Another summed it up rather perfectly by commenting: "THEY ARE PROJECTING THEIR SELF HATRED! It’s so weird how much random people hate on you for no damn reason when all you do is work hard and mind your business🤯 If you keep it real they mad. If you sneeze they mad. It’s a lot of mad people out there not minding their own business."
What she said...
