Cardi B has defended her estranged husband Offset from fan criticism amid their ongoing divorce. The 'WAP' singer took to Twitter in a series of now deleted tweets to defend Offset after a fan tweeted that they a "right to drag" him, saying that while the ex-couple no longer speak, she won't tolerate people disrespecting the father of her child.

After a fan tweeted "We don't like offset sis and it's our right to drag him when we see fit". Cardi quickly responded saying, "I don't give a f*** if you don't like him. I don't talk to him but you not going to disrespect my child father," she continued.

"I will slap the s— out of you in curtesy of Kulture. If he die, go broke, you not the one that's going to raise my kid & you not the 1 who pays for her s***, [sic]" she finished.

Cardi filed for divorce from rapper Offset back in September, citing their relationship is 'irreplaceably broken' in court documents. The pair share a daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus, whom Cardi is allegedly seeking "primary physical custody as well as legal custody" for.

Court documents filed last month under the pairs' real names — Belcalis Almanzar and Kiari Cephus - stated that "there are no prospects for a reconciliation" because the relationship is "irretrievably broken."

A few weeks ago, Cardi took to Instagram to explain the reasons behind the split, denying that cheating allegations toward Offset.

"The reason for my divorce is not because of none of that sh*t that ever happened before. It's not because of cheating. I'm seeing people be like, 'Oh, he has a baby on the way.' That's a whole f***ing complete lie. That's the second time people are trying to pin babies over here. No, that's bulls**t.

"I just got tired of f***ing arguing," she continued. "I got tired of not seeing things eye to eye. When you feel like it's just not the same anymore, before you actually get cheated on, I'd rather just leave."
