Welcome to Christmas with the Delevingnes; a riot of dancing to Kylie classics, films in front of the fire, Poppy winning at board games, Chloe becoming protective over her Christmas cheese and Cara struggling to get a word in edgeways.

Ahead of the festive season, we sat down with the trio, who opened up about what makes their family Christmas so special, from mistletoe and velvet suits to copious glasses of their own Prosecco, Della Vite.

Plus, they share the recipes for their two favourite Christmas cocktails for our own festive merriment.

What makes the best Christmas party?

Poppy: "Mistletoe. Christmas parties should be all about kissing. Oh and a gospel choir."

Chloe: "Family, friends and festive music."

Cara: "Dancing, Delevingnes & Della Vite!"

What should a festive party always avoid...?

Poppy: "Eggnog. It scares me."

Chloe: "Too many people – and there always needs to be enough seating…"

Cara: "Eggnog and bad carols…"

What song always gets you on the dance floor?

Poppy: "Last Christmas by Wham. I always had a soft spot for George Michael growing up."

Chloe: "Mariah or Michael Bublé!"

Cara: "The Pogues, 'Fairytale of New York'."

Your go-to Christmas party outfit is….

Poppy: "Anything that sparkles. I have a Balmain sequinned blazer that you can wear as a dress. It barely covers my bottom & hopefully I’ll resemble a Christmas bauble."

Chloe: "I love everything and anything red velvet – The Deck has the most incredible suits. And my Tabitha Simmons shoes."

Cara: "A bad Christmas Jumper…"

What are your sisters like at Christmas?

Chloe: "They are both my dream wing women. We are always together and always the last to leave a party!"

Poppy: "We are always the last to leave!"

Chloe: "Guaranteed laughter, dancing and hugging."

Cara: "We are always the last ones left on the dance floor!"

Your favourite festive tipple...

Poppy: "Endless glasses of Della Vite. I will add a little blackberry liquor to mine for some added warmth…"

Chloe: "A sloegasm! Della Vite with some homemade sloe gin."

Cara: "Prosecco on ice, which is also Bill Murray's favourite drink."

Describe a typical Delevingne Christmas...

Poppy: "Our whole family is together this year, so it’s very exciting. There will be lots of games, delicious food and drinks. And lots of talking over each other, all of the time…"

Chloe: "We’ll all be snuggled by the fire re- watching Father of the Bride for the 100th time…"

Cara: "Reuniting over laughter and stories over bubbles. At the end of the holidays my stomach and face hurt a lot..."

What is the best thing about a family Christmas?

Poppy: "Being together and reconnecting. Endless bear hugs and hysterical laughter. Also the fact you can eat gooey cheese with a spoon for breakfast, lunch and dinner and no one will judge you."

Chloe: "The games we play! Sardines is one of our favourites. And my husband’s cooking is always delicious."

Cara: "Catching up with my family but also my friends who are like family who I've missed throughout the year."

A Christmas movie you watch every year is…

Poppy: "Father of the Bride."

Chloe: "Elf!"

Cara: "Home Alone."

What do your sisters do at Christmas that you love or that annoys you?

Poppy: "We love to play games… Cards Against Humanity, Pictionary, Articulate. What annoys me is how competitive they get. Luckily for me I always win."

Chloe: "It annoys me when they eat my cheese. I am very protective of my Christmas cheese! But I love how amazing they are with my children. It really is such a joyous time."

Cara: "I love the way they are always so prepared when it comes to Christmas, every detail is thought of to make it amazing."

Cara: "The only thing that annoys me is I can’t ever get a word in edgeways…"

What makes the best New Year's Eve party?

Poppy: "Music. Anything by Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin & Elvis. I’m going back in time…"

Chloe: "I’m much more of a Christmas person if I’m honest so snuggling up at home with a glass of DV, watching the fireworks on TV!"

Cara: "Doesn’t matter where I am as long as I have who I love around me."

New Year's Eve should never be without…

Poppy: "A magnum of Della Vite. And glitter. An abundance of glitter."

Chloe: "Loved ones. And some Kylie Minogue."

Cara: "Della Vite on tap!"
