Cara Delevingne decided to be Megan Thee Stallion's "hype woman" at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards.

During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday, host Jimmy asked the British actress/model about the viral photos showing her playfully styling the Hot Girl Summer rapper on the red carpet of the event in May.

"I was kind of working as her P.A. I needed a side job," she joked. "I was in Vegas with friends - I really wanted to see (Megan) play - and she asked me to come along with her. She was on the red carpet so I was standing behind her and she was trying to do the thing in fashion where you flick (the train of a dress) so I was helping her and going 'Yeah girl.' I was hyping her up - being a hype woman."

While some people found Cara's behaviour a "bit odd", she has no regrets.

"That's me. No shame!" the 29-year-old smiled.

Elsewhere in the chat, Cara also discussed her role in season two of Only Murders in the Building, which also stars Selena Gomez, Steve Martin, and Martin Short.

Reflecting on how she landed the part, the star revealed she was offered the role without auditioning.

"My agent called me up and said, 'So, they've asked you to be in this show.' And I was like, 'She's probably joking.' I hadn't met the director or anything and they were just like, 'They want you to be in it,' and I was like, 'If this is a joke, I'm going to be so angry. But if this isn't, I'll pay.' And she was like, 'You shouldn't say that to people,'" Cara recalled. "And then, they're like, '(Will you) play a queer, English, wannabe artist?' I was like, 'OK, that sounds odd... Never done that before."
