Following her break-up from Shawn Mendes after two years together, Camila Cabello pulled a classic move while healing from heartbreak: She dramatically changed her hair. The singer debuted mint green locks on her Instagram yesterday in a major departure from her signature dark brown hair. 'I clean up ok 👍🏼,' she captioned the post that over 3.8 million people liked:

What does Mendes think of the change? Well, he left a receipt: He liked her post.

It's unclear at this point whether Cabello truly dyed her hair or if she was wearing a wig for a shoot of some sort. But a change is a change, be it for a day or longer.

Mendes' support of Cabello's makeover isn't too surprising given the former couple stressed in their breakup statement that they plan to stay close friends. The two wrote, when announcing their split:

Hey guys, we’ve decided to end our romantic relationship but our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever ❤️

We started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends. We so appreciate your support from the beginning and moving forward ❤️❤️❤️

A source told E! that Mendes 'initiated the conversation' a little over a week ago to end things romantically. Although Cabello was 'very upset over the split,' she 'agreed' it was for the best, that source added.

'The relationship was getting stale and complacent and they decided they are better off being friends,' the source said.

Entertainment Tonight got similar intel from its own source about the cause of their separation. 'Shawn and Camila's breakup was mutual,' the ET source said. 'They realised they are in totally different places in their lives at this point, and it was time to end things. They're both sad about the split, but doing their best to take care of themselves, stay busy and surround themselves by loved ones.'
