Camila Cabello just shared the trailer for her Cinderella musical movie
Camila Cabello just shared a teaser trailer for her new musical movie, Cinderella, and not to sound too Disney but it actually looks *magical*. The singer-songwriter has teamed up with Amazon Prime for the live-action remake of the classic fairytale, which boasts a seriously star-filled line up.

What's Cinderella about?
We all know the story of Cinderella, but in this movie, we'll see Cinderella in a whole new light. Speaking about the retelling of this fairytale classic, writer-director Kay Cannon told Entertainment Weekly she wanted to "modernise it, and change Cinderella so that she's vocal and active."
"I just felt like it was a great opportunity to show this loved, iconic character that is Cinderella in a way that's more relatable to what girls and young women in particular are going through," Cannon added.
Although we don't know too much about the plot of the film, we can of course expect to see a glamorous makeover, a fairy godparent, romance and plenty of musical numbers.
Who's starring in Cinderella?
Camila Cabello stars as Cinderella, alongside Idina Menzel (Frozen) who plays her stepmother. Billy Porter (Pose) takes on the role of the movie's gender-neutral fairy godparent, Fab G.
The film also stars Nicholas Galitzine (The Watcher In The Woods) as Prince Charming, Pierce Brosnan (Mamma Mia) as King Rowan and Minnie Driver (Good Will Hunting) as Queen Beatrice.
James Corden (Gavin & Stacey) is producing the movie and cameos as a mouse. Cute.
Is there a trailer for Cinderella?
Amazon Prime released a teaser trailer for the movie on June 30, which Camila shared to her Instagram with the caption: "#CinderellaMovie 😭😭😭 this was one of the most magical experiences of my life. I can’t wait for you to see it." Watch it above.
When is Cinderella being released?
The movie will be released on Amazon Prime Video on September 3, 2021.
