Cameron Diaz's change to family dynamic with daughter Raddix

Cameron Diaz loves nothing more than being a hands-on mom to her daughter Raddix and has expressed the joy her family with Benji Madden brings her.

But eight years after stepping away from her Hollywood acting career, Cameron thrust herself back into the limelight and announced she was making a movie with Jamie Foxx.

But how has this changed life at home in Los Angeles where she and Benji have been raising Raddix, three?

Cameron returned to the set of Back in Action this week and was spotted filming with Jamie's stunt double - as he continues his recovery in hospital after a medical complication.

Working in Atlanta, Georgia, Cameron is more than 2,000 miles away from her loved ones, which will be a challenge for the actress given the years she's spent by Raddix's side.

Speaking to Jimmy Fallon ahead about her return to acting, Cameron admitted things had changed."I'm both (nervous and excited). You know, it's a little bit of muscle memory, you know what I mean? Sort of like, I did that for so long, it's kind of like the process, I kind of just fell back into it. But, it kind of feels a bit different."

The difference may have something to do with Cameron, 50, now being a working mom. She and Benji welcomed their daughter via surrogate and she was thrilled to become a parent later in life.

Cameron has called becoming a mother the "best thing I've ever done in my life," and  says she feels grateful every day.
