We're very used to seeing Call The Midwife star Helen George being around newborns on-screen, and now she's shared a sweet throwback picture with her own just-born daughter.

To mark Mother's Day, Helen posted an image of herself with newborn daughter Wren, who she welcomed in late 2017 will fellow Call The Midwife actor Jack Ashton.

"Happy Mother’s Day to you all, to the mothers, daughters, want to be mothers, about to be mothers and no longer with us mothers. After a pretty shitty week for women, I am thinking of you all," Helen wrote alongside the throwback picture.

Away from family life, Helen is about to return to our screens as Nurse Trixie Franklin in Call The Midwife, which recently wrapped on filming for series 10.

"After a most challenging year, we are DELIGHTED to announce that filming for Call the Midwife Series 10 is now complete!" makers of the show announced.

"Our cast and crew achieved an incredible feat - ensuring that, despite all pandemic working restrictions, our series completed its filming schedule without suspension. Congratulations to all our team," it went on.
