Caitlyn Jenner opened up about just how strained her relationship with Kris Jenner is

Caitlyn Jenner has opened up about her relationship with ex Kris Jenner, hinting that it is somewhat strained and saying that she wishes they were closer.

Caitlyn is currently appearing on Big Brother VIP Australia and during one scene a fellow housemate asked her about how she and former wife Kris get along having split up more than six years ago.

She explained, that although they are co-parents to Kendall and Kylie their relationship still has its challenges and difficulties.

"I would say from my standpoint, our relationship is not as good as it should be," she shared with her fellow housemate. "I don't have any hard feelings towards her. I wish it was closer, but it's not."

When Caitlyn was asked if Kris possibly had some "misgivings" towards her, Caitlyn quickly responded, "I think that is an understatement," adding, "Our relationship is ok, but I think it could be better, just because of the kids.

Caitlyn and Kris announced their split in 2013 after 22 years of marriage, and have had a fairly tumultuous relationship since then, in part prompted by Caitlyn's memoir The Secrets of My Life which was released in 2017. In an episode of KUWTK Kris spoke about being "disappointed" with some of the things the book said about the family, claiming, "Everything she says is made up."
