The arrival of Cadbury Bournville Fingers has been announced and they sound perfect. Arriving in shops throughout October the delicious biscuit favourite has had its traditional Dairy Milk coating swapped out for some classic Bournville dark chocolate.
Looking like an ideal choice to dip into a cup of tea, the moreish biscuit has been released in a dark chocolate version before, but this is the first time it's with iconic Bournville chocolate.
Katie Dade, senior brand manager for Cadbury Biscuits explained in the press release: "Combining this much-loved product with a nostalgic brand like Bournville to create Cadbury Bournville Fingers will be an exciting launch."
Dade explained the new snack was created with cosy nights in in mind, continuing: "With consumers continuing to spend more nights in at home, we have seen an increase in shoppers looking for the perfect treat to share with others in their households."
Though — in the classic Fingers packet style — they're ideal for sharing, switching out the milk for dark chocolate is also a great way for grown-ups to keep this chocolatey snack all to themselves. Kids don't tend to be huge fans of dark chocolate, which suits us just fine.
We'll certainly be keeping our eyes peeled for these in the biscuit aisle this autumn, though can't say we'll be sharing!
Bournville Cadbury Fingers, 114g, RRP*: £1.65
