If you thought the arrival of Cadbury's white chocolate Creme Eggs was one of the best things to happen in 2018, you'll be happy to hear the chocolate treats are making a comeback this month.

For the second year, Cadbury Creme Egg lovers will have the chance to get their hands on a limited edition white chocolate version of the much-loved egg – a white chocolatey shell containing the iconic gooey fondant yolk centre.

Unfortunately, though, they won't be on sale. Instead, the white chocolate versions will be camouflaged as a classic Cadbury Creme Egg, and you'll have to be very lucky (or just buy a lot of Creme Eggs) in order to have a chance of finding one.

What's more, if you manage to find one of white ones on offer, you'll also be in with a chance of winning up to £1,000. But there's a change on the way this year.

As well as the 783 white eggs hidden in U.K. stores, there will be an additional 1,000 white eggs appearing elsewhere on social media, billboards and websites. You'll just need to take a photo or screen shot of it before uploading your image to www.huntthewhitecremeegg.com to unwrap it. If it's white, you'll receive one in the post, and if it's milk chocolate, Cadbury will send you a voucher to redeem a free Creme Egg in-store.

The white egg hunt will run from 14 January until 21 April in selected independent and convenience retailers (such as local newsagents and corner shops) and in Asda, Morrisons, Tesco, Co-op, Sainsbury's and M&S.

If you need us, we'll be buying whole shelves in a bid to find a white one.
