It’s impossible to know how to feel about a Cadbury Dairy Milk bar that’s stuffed full of pineapple flavoured marshmallows, because, well, I’ve never tasted it.
But as someone who would try anything once (get your mind out of the gutter), I think I could get on board with it.
The Cadbury bar is described as “Dairy Milk milk chocolate with chewy pineapple flavoured marshmallows”, and has been inspired by Pascall Pineapple Lumps.
These pineapple lumps are pineapple marshmallows coated in chocolate, and are readily available in Australia and New Zealand. And whether you like the sound of them or not, they’re actually very popular amongst Aussies and New Zealanders alike. So, Cadbury thought it seemed like a good idea to team up and get a bar on the go.
If this is something you fancy trying, or if you’re an ex-pat desperate for a taste of home, you’ll be glad to hear that you can get hold of this lovely bar over here in Great Britain.
GB Gifts is selling the 170g bar for £6.99. The cost is high because, of course, the bar has to be imported from Australia/New Zealand.
Did you know that ‘How to cut a pineapple” was 2019’s most Googled food question?
We’re not surprised, to be honest, because that big fella can be pretty daunting when you’re presented with it and expected to do something with it.
Lucky for you, we have the answer right here.
Cheese and pineapple cocktail sticks for everyone!
