Cadbury Launches Caramilk Chocolate Ice CreamNewfoodsuk

Back in June 2021, a very different kind of Cadbury's chocolate bar landed on UK supermarket shelves, and our tastebuds were altered forever. Cadbury Caramilk, a blonde chocolate bar made from caramelising white choc, has been with us for a while now, and we're so very glad it has been.

We've seen the launch of lots of different Caramilk iterations since its UK-side arrival: baking chips for the perfect Caramilk cookie, Caramilk Flakes, Caramilk Buttons, and even a Caramilk Castle.

Now, the golden chocolate is being made into ice cream. Have you heard a better sentence?

Launching in February, Cadbury Caramilk will be sold in stick and tub form, and it looks pretty damn delicious.

The ice cream tubs will contain creamy Caramilk ice cream with Caramilk chunks and a mega-indulgent Caramilk core. This sounds like it's about to make movie night 1000% more delicious.

The ice cream sticks will have a creamy Caramilk-flavoured ice cream inside and will be coated with a luscious layer of the chocolate itself. We can already taste it!

The new ice cream tubs and sticks will be available at Asda and other shops next month, and will cost £3.50 (the sticks come in a pack of four), which is an absolute barg.

Brunhilde VanAntwerp, UK head of marketing for Cadbury ice cream, said of the new launch: “Following the success of the confectionary range, we were able to see that customers desire to try new ice creams. The UK confectionary launch showed that 13 weeks from introduction, Cadbury Caramilk became worth £15.45m, proving that it is a taste already loved by many.”
