When the world was introduced to Lotus Biscoff spread, we thought that was it: the most delicious, wonderful food had been invented. There was simply no way in hell anything better could come along.
(You must know where this is going.)
Well guess what… the unthinkable has happened, because Lotus has now created Biscoff sauce. Andddddddddd, I’m dead. RIP me.
Yup – that delicious caramelly and biscuitty flavour is now pourable. You can drizzle it on ice cream, on rice pudding, across a cheesecake, or cut out the middle man, and pour it right down your gullet. I know that’s what I’ll be doing.
You get your hands on this precious, precious gift by visiting Amazon, who describes it by saying: “Lotus Biscoff is now available as a sauce. Sold in squeezy bottles of 1 kg. Perfect for topping your Crepes, Waffles, Ice Cream and More! The caramelised flavour of Lotus Biscoff adds a delicious sweet depth to hundreds of recipes - both sweet or savoury..”
Those guys are selling a 1kg bottle for £8.05.
Earlier this year, the company announced that it would be a lunching a Biscoff & Go dunker, which is basically a Dairylea Dunker but with blended cookie butter instead of cheese.
At the time, A spokesperson for Lotus, said: “Our customers can enjoy the taste of Lotus Biscoff anytime, anywhere and in a handy dunk and go format.
“Biscoff & Go is the perfect snack and another way in which retailers can benefit from the nation’s continued obsession with the unique caramelised flavour of Lotus Biscoff.”
