Ever since July 24, face masks have become the new normal.
The latest government guidelines have made face coverings mandatory in the UK in shops, enclosed public spaces and public transport - this includes supermarkets, indoor shopping centres, banks and takeaways.
With the face covering rules looking to be in place for quite some time in order to help reduce the transmission of the coronavirus, many of us have been purchasing numerous reusable face masks in trendy designs.
Multiple British high street stores, such as M&S, ASOS, Mango and Anthropologie, were quick to release their own affordable fabric face mask options.
But, if you’re looking to invest in the everyday staple, British designer, Burberry, has now created a luxury version.
The iconic British brand has released two fabric face masks in the labels signature nova check, each Vintage Cotton Check Mask costs £90.
The unisex masks come in two colours: archive beige and pale blue, as well as two sizes S/M and M/L.
Each non-medical mask is made from cotton, which has been sustainably produced from excess fabric, and features elasticated ear loops for a personalised fit.
The reusable designs have also been enhanced with an antimicrobial technology and comes with a matching travel pouch.
In April, Burberry set up the Burberry Foundation COVID-19 Community Fund, which continues to provide PPE and assistance to front line workers. To date, more than 160,000 pieces of PPE have been donated.
