BTS' Jung Kook tapped as brand ambassador for Calvin Klein

BTS star Jung Kook is the new face of Calvin Klein.

On Tuesday, representatives for the brand announced that the pop singer had been selected as the global brand ambassador for Calvin Klein Jeans and Calvin Klein Underwear.

"I have been a fan of Calvin Klein for a long time, and I'm thrilled to be their newest global ambassador. This partnership is very special, as Calvin Klein's heritage and brand values resonate with me," he gushed. "My music is how I communicate with my fans around the world, and I see this partnership as an opportunity to connect with them in a new way. I'm incredibly excited for people to see a new side of me in this first campaign for the brand."

Shot by Park Jong Ha, one campaign image shows the 25-year-old posing in a denim jacket and jeans, while he also models a relaxed-fit denim shirt and a crewneck T-shirt.

Reflecting on the partnership, Jonathan Bottomley, global chief marketing officer of Calvin Klein, described Jung as a natural fit for the brand.
