Brittany Mahomes Just Revealed She Has a Fractured Back
Brittany Mahomes shared a health update with her followers about the importance of taking care of oneself after giving birth.
"Just your daily reminder: Once you have kids please take care of your pelvic floor. Seriously," the Kansas City Current co-owner captioned an Instagram Story selfie yesterday. "From: A girl with a fractured back."
Despite the scare, however, Brittany—who btw shares daughter Sterling, 3, and son Bronze, 1, with husband Patrick Mahomes—still seems to be making light of the sitch. In yet another pic she uploaded to her Instagram Story, her husband can be seen holding a can of beer and walking with the couple's daughter. "But vacating with my homies will maybe make it better? 😂❤️" Brittany captioned the snap.
A quick refresher that Brittany and Patrick were high school sweethearts after meeting way back in 2011. Despite the two attending different colleges—the footballer went to Texas Tech University while the soccer star headed to the University of Texas at Tyler—, they remained a couple and ultimately got married in Hawaii in March 2022.
Over the years, Brittany has been a staple at her husband's Kansas City Chiefs games (where she's fully become besties with fellow WAG Taylor Swift!!!!).
Most recently, the two were at this year's Super Bowl, where the Chiefs won the big game against the San Francisco 49ers. "Three Times," Brittany captioned an Instagram carousel of herself and Patrick holding the Vince Lombardi trophy after the win.
In another touching tribute, she said, in part, "This season was a special one! This guy never stopped believing in his team…through the ups and downs and all the doubters, never once did he doubt this team. He is a true leader and a team player."
Brittany also added, "I saw so much behind the scenes that I will forever be in awe of you as a person and a football player! You my guy deserved this!!! I love you and am always and forever proud of you❤️."
Patrick returned the favor by giving his wife and kids a special shoutout while accepting the trophy on the field post-game and gushing, "It means the world [that they’re here]. The whole family of Kansas City and [the] Chiefs Kingdom is special...Brittany’s a great wife with two great kids. I can’t ask for anything better than this."
If you need me, I'll just be sitting here sobbing!
