Britney Spears and long-time partner, Sam Asghari, are now married after the pair made it legally official with a ceremony held at their Los Angeles home on 9 June. Congrats to the newly weds!

Although Britney's ex-husband, Jason Alexander, did attempt to "crash" her second wedding... yikes, there was no putting a dampener on the mood with star-studded celebrations 'a go... phew! Paris Hilton, Drew Barrymore and even old-time friend, Donatella Versace, were all in attendance.

Speaking of Ms Versace, she was in fact the designer behind the star's dress and we have to say, it truly is stunning. Vogue were the first to share the snaps and as you can see from the couple's bridal portraits here, Brit is wearing a custom yet still traditional, off-the-shoulder white gown and classic veil with satin details. Of course, her husband complemented the look with a tux also by Versace. Don't you just love a matchy matchy moment? Especially on a day as big as this!

For those who aren't as into 90s pop culture trivia as I am (I recommend you swat up on your knowledge), Britney and Donatella go waaaay back. As far back as the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards, actually!

On that iconic night, the singer won three (yes, three!) awards, one for 'Video', another for 'Pop Video' and the final being for 'Female Video'. And as memorable as those moments were, one thing we cannot erase from our memories is the dress she wore on stage.

As you can see, Brit stunned in her silver embellished Versace fringe dress and just over a decade later, she did it once again on (arguably) the biggest day of her life. It's a full circle moment and we love to see it.
