The MTV Video Music Awards might’ve been held at New York’s Madison Square Garden, but Britney Spears must not have gotten the memo and wore an outfit more fit for Las Vegas.
Performing her new hit “Make Me…” with G-Eazy, the singer wore a sheer jumpsuit (just like the Swarovski crystal encrusted one she wore in the “Toxic” music video and similar to the two-piece look she wore to sing “Satisfaction” and “Oops!…I did it Again” at the 2000 VMAs). But she updated the nude bodystocking for 2016 with yellow details including cutouts, knee-high boots, and a choker.
But the best part of the ensemble was probably the hoodie, which she put on for just the short part when she covered Bebe Rexha’s part of “Me, Myself & I.”

For her first time on stage at the awards show in nearly a decade, she wore a classic style — and it totally worked (bitch).
